Nobody will tell you, but i will.

These Timothy pods for Senseo machines are not standardized to fit.

Apparently, ONE of their pods are equivalent to TWO of other brand pods.

It does not indicate this anywhere on the box or on line. I had to find out the hard way, after breaking my Senseo machine, trying to shut it with 2 timothy pods in the 2 pod holder (standard operating procedure).

I called Timothy's and they told me about the need to only use 1 pod, not 2.

They also sent me a complementary box of coffee pods to accomodate the loss of my Senseo machine.

I haven't gotten a replacement Senseo unit yet. (The Senseo units turned out to be recalled). I'm waiting for my replacement and then try the coffee pods.

I sure hope their coffee is worth the trouble and wait.

Bottom line is: Use ONE Timothy pod in the Senseo 2 pod holder, and check to see if the Senseo unit has been recalled.

Have to run, my water is boiling for tea.

I've tried a few versions of coffee pods and have found that these are the best of the bunch. The pods come individually wrapped so flavor is always consistent. These pods also contain the most amount of coffee per pod so the flavor is much stronger.

Melitta One:One Java Pods, Love At First Sip, Medium Roast Coffee, 18-Count Boxes (Pack of 4)I was very disappointed in this Melitta product. The pods were too thick for my Senseo coffeemaker. And the coffee produced is definitely not as smooth as the Senseo Medium Strength pods produce.



Do not use these Melitta's in a Senseo machine. The hinge of the movable top was very strained due to the extra thickness of these Melitta pods. I'm sure the plastic bits around the hinge would have failed if I continued to use the Melitta pods.



I contacted Amazon and they, nicely, and quickly refunded my purchase price. Thanks, Amazon.

I can't say enough about the Melitta line of coffees! They are by far the best coffee I've ever made at home. I typically by the "Buzzworthy" and fill my "to go" coffee cup twice (using my Melitta Coffee maker, one large cup and one small cup buttons). It's perfectly diluted, but still strong. My mom prefers this brand, "Love At First Sip". It's a milder blend, but still VERY good, even when pressing the small cup button twice.



These coffee blends taste like the gourmet coffee you buy in the trendy coffee houses. You will LOVE these coffees!

Senseo is a great product and the pod based system of making coffee yields a fresh cup time after time. It's just a shame this particular coffee is so average. There's nothing wrong with it, just a compromise of flavours that leave you underwhelmed. Described as a "blend to get you going in the morning", this isn't going to get you anywhere. It is, however, not going to make you spit it out and if you fancy a nice, average coffee that delivers a nice, average flavour then you'll like this.



I use it as a third choice between decaff (for late nights) and dark roast (for mornings following really late nights!)

This is an attractive machine, looks good in my kitchen. My husband and I use different coffees and love the convenience of having whatever brew we need available, cup by cup. It's easy to operate, the coffee smells good and tastes good. Having said that, here's the downside. It's not very well made. It has been recalled for some electrical difficulty that could have been disastrous and the replacement broke down within months. I am now on my fourth or fifth one and if this one goes bad in the next two years or so I am going shopping for another brand. Sometimes I think I keep buying them just because it's so fast, efficient and pleasant to deal with Amazon.

This is my second Senseo coffee maker in almost 10 years and just love this new blend. It was a great day in my house when I discovered it on the subscription service through Amazon, ensuring the supply never runs out plus the price cannot be beat! This is a similar blend to the Senseo Dark, but with a smoother finish. No bitterness or burnt taste at all. My only reason to give 4 stars rather than five is that the pods are a little weak. They contain about 10% less coffee than the Senseo Dark blend and it makes a difference in the cup. I normally make a two-pod cup anyway, and deal with this slight weakness by simply shutting off the brewer a little early. Another reviewer complained that the specific varieties in the blend are not stated and that therefore the taste may vary from batch to batch. I'm not an expert by a long shot, but I do drink a lot of coffee and I've been using this blend for about a year with no detectable variation.

Sometimes when I want the slight extra kick of the Dark blend but still want a smooth finish I will use one pod of Dark and one pod of this Colombian blend. (That's one thing I like about the pod brewers over the Keurig style: one can mix and match).

I unintentionally order pods instead of K-cups because all I could see was the cheap price. I have a K-cup reusable filter which I am using to brew the coffee in the pods.

I love Timothy's coffee, so I decided to try using them in the filter. I open up a small opening in the pod and pour the coffee into the reusable filter. I then brew the coffee. It tastes very good and not weak at all. I can't tell the difference between using the coffee in the filter and the regular K-cups. I will probably not buy the pods again but order the K-cups with Timothy's French Vanilla. It tastes so good!

The size of the pods is a little off...they are just a bit bigger than the Senseo brand I buy at the store.



I took a chance and ordered these pods for my older coffee maker, a Black and Decker Pod coffee maker. Using the two pod holder, I mistakenly tried to put two of these pods in the machine at the same time. DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE! Unfortunately, the pods got stuck, and I was unable to open it. So I tried to pry it open, and the plastic broke, making my machine completely unusable.



So I bought myself a new Senseo. Nice machine. And I tried to use these pods. And they work, as long as you use ONE pod in the TWO pod holder.



I like the individually sealed packets for the pods. I have a container that sits on my counter, and the naked pods are not exposed. It makes me feel like they might stay fresher?



The flavor of the coffee is good for me...but I like medium to weak coffee and this coffee was perfect for me. I would imagine if you like strong coffee, you will not like.



One thing that prevents me from giving a fifth star is the pod size...it does limit the machine if you cant use 2 pods to make a larger cup of coffee.
